Chow Down Game Feeders

This is the first Blog and hopefully there will be many more to follow. My brother Kirk and I wrestled with all the hardships most hunters witness when trying to feed their game. Kirk and I started out building a new design feeder out of plywood... Yes plywood in our shop. It has matured to a place we are very proud to say, we have had it in the field for 4 years testing this idea and to date the only thing we have done is add corn. We have refined this feeder to throw aprox.2 pound of corn per 5 seconds of run time. This precision has enabled us to budget our game feed for the upcoming year. We have engineered many other great features, we have designed a through funnel spinner which agitates the feed thus helping to reduce clogs from unclean corn, the total height of the feeder is only 60 inches thus totally eliminating need for climbing, using augers, ladders, etc for filling the feeder. We also have designed a varmint proof way to dispense the feed. The two deflector plates channel the corn through a 1 1/4 inch gap that totally eliminated access by raccoons, birds, squirrels, rats, goats, livestock, etc. This design also channels the feed and when tested it will broadcast corn over 60 feet from center of feeder. The extremely low profile and double deflector plates totally eliminate strong wind gust spinning the feed out or turning the feeder over. We have also engineered the wiring process where there are no exposed wires. All wires from the solar panel, to the battery, to the motor, to the timer are encased and away from environment and varmints. One may have the thought of this feeder being suspect to flipping over from hogs. We have engineered a Flip Proof Base as an added accessory. We believe this could be the very last feeder you have to purchase. Please check out this new feeder design and we welcome all feedback both negative and positive.
